Thread Veins

Thread veins are tiny, enlarged vessels in your skin, which are filled with blood, and therefore are easy to see.

Thread veins are probably inherited. It is not the same as having varicose veins.

Thread veins don’t look good, and sometimes produce discomfort. This is why many women seek to remove them. In successful treatment, the aesthetic improvement is often quite dramatic.

Micro-sclerotherapy involves injecting the veins with a chemical. You can also cauterise them with electric current or laser. This makes the walls of the veins stick together.
